Information Meetings

Information Meetings facilitated by foster, respite, and adoptive parents and program staff, provide an overview of treatment foster, respite, and adoptive parenting including a description of the philosophy, goals and services provided by the Therapeutic Foster Care Program. Profiles of children coming into care, including; how, when, why and goals of care are discussed. The important and challenging role foster, respite and adoptive parents play in helping children reach their goals is also discussed, as is the process and the requirements to become a foster, respite, and/or adoptive parent.
